Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply to the Playlane app, made by Ahmed Mongy ("we"). Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict, these terms apply where the law allows.
A player only
Playlane is a media player. It includes no channels, films, series or other content, and we don't sell, host or recommend any. You add your own sources. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to watch everything you play. Don't use Playlane to watch content you are not allowed to access.
Safety in the car
Playlane is for passengers. The driver must never watch video while driving. On the car screen, video plays only while the car is parked, and only sound plays while it is moving. Always follow local traffic laws.
Playlane Pro
- Playlane Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the renewal.
- If an offer includes a free trial, you are not charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Settings app, under your name, then Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- To get Pro on another device with the same Apple ID, tap "Restore purchases" in the app.
Changes to the app
We may change, add or remove features. If a paid feature you rely on is removed during a paid period, contact us at support@playlane.app.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We can't promise that every stream, file format or car will work, because they depend on your provider, your network and your car. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without limiting any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
